Bringing the Spacemann Vision to Life
When the opportunity arose to create our new showroom at The Forum in Clerkenwell, the objective was clear: create a space that would showcase the breadth of the Spacemann product range while helping customers, clients and designers visualise how our solutions could transform their own workplaces and interior projects.
More than simply displaying products, our showroom was designed to demonstrate how our acoustic pods, booths and workspace solutions can work together to create environments that support focus, collaboration and wellbeing.
Designing a Showroom of Inspiring Workspace Solutions
Once the available space had been established, the challenge became how to present as many of our workspace solution products and finishes as possible without overwhelming visitors.
Historically, Spacemann had often used bold colours and strong brand-led themes to create impact. For the showroom, however, we took a different approach. The goal was to create an inspiring and welcoming environment that reflected current workplace design trends while remaining timeless and adaptable.
Working alongside Emma Lawrence of Lorro Studios, a carefully curated palette of fabrics, laminates and glass manifestations was selected. The result is a contemporary, neutral aesthetic that allows visitors to focus on the products themselves while drawing inspiration for their own projects.
Showcasing Flexibile Concentration Pods and Collaboration Booths
The showroom layout evolved through several design iterations before arriving at its final form.
Today, visitors can experience a wide range of Spacemann solutions in a single visit, including:
- Four Odyssey pods
- Two Silence pods
- A 4m x 3m modular room
- An Orbit open pod
- A Cosmos solo booth, endearingly nicknamed “Shaun the Sheep” by the team
Each installation demonstrates a different approach to privacy, collaboration and acoustic performance, helping customers understand how our solutions can be tailored to suit a variety of workplace requirements.
Integrating Real Workplace Technology
To further enhance the visitor experience, the showroom incorporates technology partnerships with Embrava and GoBright.
These workplace management and room-booking solutions allow customers to see first-hand how technology can be integrated with acoustic spaces to improve workplace efficiency, occupancy management and user experience.
A Space to Explore, Work and Collaborate
Located at The Forum in Clerkenwell, the showroom provides workplace designers, architects, dealers and end users with a hands-on opportunity to explore the materials, finishes, acoustic performance and flexibility that define the Spacemann range.
More than a product showcase, it represents the company’s approach to creating spaces where people and ideas thrive. furniture scheme.
