We recently partnered with Assmann UK on the refurbishment of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Members’ Lounge, an exclusive space created to support the needs of LCCI members.
Project Overview
The aim of the renovation was to transform the lounge into a versatile, high-performing workspace that could accommodate a variety of professional requirements. IRS needed to redesign the space to include:
- Private working areas
- Independent workstations
- A dedicated meeting room
- A relaxed seating area for informal discussions and downtime
As the Members’ Lounge remained fully operational throughout the installation process, careful planning was essential. To minimise disruption, our team coordinated early morning deliveries and installations, ensuring members could continue using the space without interruption.
Spacemann Solutions
To meet the brief, IRS chose a range of work pods from our Silence collection, each selected to enhance flexibility, privacy and comfort within the space.
Personal Pods – Ideal for phone calls and focused individual work, the Personal Pods provide a quiet, self-contained environment.
Duo Pods – Designed for one-to-one meetings, online calls and private discussions, the Duo Pod offers an intimate yet professional setting for collaboration without distractions.
Team Pod – Perfect for small team meetings or round table discussions, the Team Pod creates a dedicated enclosed space that supports productivity while maintaining privacy.
Choosing Spacemann for Added Flexibility and User Comfort
All work pods supplied for the project included:
- Adjustable lighting and fan controls for individual comfort
- Integrated relocation wheel sets, allowing LCCI to easily reconfigure the layout as future needs evolve
- A custom cut-out within the framework of the pods to allow seamless cable management through the walls, ensuring both functionality and a clean aesthetic.
This collaboration delivered a refined and flexible workspace that balances privacy, collaboration and comfort, enhancing the overall experience for LCCI members while ensuring the space can adapt to future requirements.
