A calm, considered workspace for a growing biotech team
We recently partnered with our long-term dealer Tsunami Axis, working on a project for a Biotech company in Cambridge. This project delivered a refined and highly functional workspace for a fast-growing life sciences organisation. The overall brief focused on creating adaptable, acoustically balanced environments within a compact footprint, without compromising on visual cohesion.
A Growing Workspace Requires Flexibility: Our Pods are the Solution
As the client expanded, the workspace needed to support a variety of working styles, from private calls to small team collaboration. A selection of pods from our Silence Range were introduced to meet these needs, including a Solo phone booth alongside two Team S pods. This combination allows individuals and teams to transition seamlessly between focused and collaborative work throughout the day.
The specification included both Cloud and View configurations, offering a balance between enclosure and openness. A bespoke frosted glass manifestation was applied to enhance privacy while maintaining a light, airy feel across the space.
Custom Colours and Materials for a Soft Aesthetic
A key feature of this project is its soft, neutral aesthetic. The pods were finished with white laminate exteriors, complemented by beige carpet and Camira fabric internally. This carefully curated palette enhances natural light and creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere. This is particularly effective within a busy, high-performance environment.
The result is a workspace that feels open and cohesive, with each element contributing to a sense of clarity and visual consistency.
